Historic Places in Wyoming County, PA

The Old White Mill, also known as Pinnock Mill and Sterling Mill, was built in 1852. It still contains the original milling equipment. In 1975 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Bridge in Nicholson Township is a historic bridge that spans Tunkhannock Creek. It was built in 1876 and is known for its Architecture structure. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Tunkhannock Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

The Noxen School was built in 1897. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. The Noxen Township website has more information and pictures.

Tunkhannock Viaduct (also known as the Nicholson Bridge) was completed in 1915. It’s a concrete deck arch bridge that spans the Tunkhannock Creek. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
